People's Artist Sabir Mammadov awarded
On January 24, 2026, the 65th anniversary of People's Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabir Mammadov was celebrated.
At a ceremony held at the Academic National Drama Theater, the actor was awarded the "Artist" medal of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan and the "Jubilee" award of the Academic National Drama Theater.
The awards were presented by the Chairman of the Union, People's Artist, State Prize laureate Haji Ismayilov and the Director of the Academic National Drama Theater, Honored Worker of Culture Ilham Askerov.
