The play "Golden Wedding" (R. Heydar, O. Kazimi) was performed at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater. The stage director of the production is Yusif Akbarov, the stage conductor is Nazim Hajialibayov, the stage designer is Vusal Rahim, and the costume designer is Gulnara Khalilova.

By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, September 27, the beginning of the 44-day Patriotic War, is celebrated in the Republic of Azerbaijan as the Day of Remembrance. On this historic day, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, ordered a counterattack along the frontline in order to prevent the attack of Armenia, which has been pursuing a policy of aggression against Azerbaijan for many years, and restore our territorial integrity.

Honored Artist Adil Agakarim oglu Zeynalov was awarded with the Honorary Order of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan for his contribution to the development of the national theater and his 60th birthday.
Rafiq Aliyev was born on November 14, 1949 in the village of Merdinli of the Fizuli region. In 1957, he entered the first grade of secondary school No.58 in Baku, and after graduating from it in 1968 he studied on the culture and enlightenment faculty with a degree in directing at the Institute of Culture in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg).

On 5 April, 2019, in the framework of the Memorandum on the Development of Cultural Relations, signed by Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan and the Georgian Theatre Society, the performance “Medea vs. Euripides” of the Meskhetian State Drama Theatre of Georgia was presented on the stage of the Academic National Drama Theatre. The artistic director of the theatre is Lia Suluashvili.
On 15 February, 2019, the Union of Theatre Workers organized the premiere of a performance prepared by the creative team of the Baku Children’s Theatre based on the work of Jalil Mammadguluzade. The director is Konul Shahbazova-Gasimova, the production designer is Sevda Mammadov, and the musical designer is Rauf Huseynli.
An interesting production and acting, colorful decorations and fun musical arrangement were greeted with applause from children and teenagers.

The Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan and the country’s theatre association made a statement to the world community, in which they expressed their negative attitude to the shelling by the Armenian armed forces of the civilian population living in the village of Alkhanly of the Fizuli region of Azerbaijan.
