The memorial evening dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the People's Artist Aliabbas Gadirov

On February 4, 2021, the Azerbaijan State Theater Museum and the Union of Theater Workers organized a memorial evening dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the outstanding actor, People's Artist Aliabbas Gadirov.

The event, held at the Azerbaijan State Theater Museum named after Jafar Jabbarli, was attended by artists, representatives of the intelligentsia and the media.

The participants got acquainted with the exhibition of Aliabbas Gadirov's works and photographs kept in the museum's fund, as well as with the actor's stage costumes.

The guests were greeted by the director of the Azerbaijan State Theater Museum, Honored Worker of Culture Sevinj Mikailova. She spoke about the work of Aliabbas Gadirov and about the many characters that he brought to life on stage. Then the floor was given to the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan, People's Artist, laureate of the State Prize Haji Ismayilov.

Sharing memories of Aliabbas Gadirov, Haji Ismayilov spoke about the actor's career, behind-the-scenes events in the theater and noted that he was proud of his friendship with an artist like him and the fact that he was lucky enough to work on the same stage as him.

Honored Art Worker Aydin Talibzadeh spoke about the vivid images that the actor brought to the history of theater and cinema in Azerbaijan.

TV presenter, honored art worker Maharram Badirzadeh shared his memories of the artist, told interesting stories about his filming in TV shows, his professional leadership in TV programs, his talent as a parodist. Between the speeches, videos of theater and television productions and films with the participation of the unforgettable actor were shown.

In conclusion, on behalf of the family members, the artist's daughter Gulchin thanked the State Theater Museum and the Union of Theater Figures for organizing the event.
