On the occasion of the 115th anniversary of Rasul Rza, the premiere of the play "Vefa" was performed
On the occasion of the 115th anniversary of Rasul Rza, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature, the premiere of the play of the same name staged by the playwright "Vefa" was performed at the Baku Municipal Theater.
Before the premiere at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater, MP Rafael Huseynov spoke about Rasul Rza's creative path and his valuable contributions to Azerbaijani literature. After the speech, the production director of the play, People's Artist Marahim Farzalibeyov, was awarded the "Rasul Rza Award".
The play "Vefa", which was watched with great interest, was greeted with applause by the audience. After the performance, the Chairman of the Union of Writers of Azerbaijan, People's Writer Anar Rzayev and the Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan, People's Artist, State Prize laureate Haji Ismayilov went backstage and met with the staff of the Municipal Theater.
Having a cordial conversation with the creative staff, Anar Rzayev and Haji Ismayilov congratulated them on the occasion of the premiere and wished them new creative successes. At the end, commemorative photos were taken.
