The 1st Islamic World Cultural Forum was held in Shusha.
The 1st Islamic World Cultural Forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan jointly with ICESCO and the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha Region, was held in Shusha.
The Forum, titled "Protection and Revival of Cultural Heritage in the Post-Conflict Period," was attended by Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend Districts; Aydin Kerimov, Special Representative in the Shusha District; Farid Jafarov; Saadat Yusifova, Deputy Ministers of Culture, and other officials.
The event included panel sessions on "International Protection Mechanisms in Practice: Studying Post-Conflict Heritage in the Islamic World" and "Revival of Cultural Heritage: Technological Innovation and Digitalization in the Protection of Cultural Heritage." The speakers exchanged views on the protection, restoration, and other necessary processes related to cultural heritage.
Representatives of the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan, including Deputy Chairman and Honored Artist Azad Shukurov and consultant educator Magomed Verdiyev, participated in the forum.
