Vth Youth Theatre Forum of the CIS, Baltic, and Georgia
Young artists from Azerbaijan participated in the Vth Youth Theatre Forum of the CIS, Baltic, and Georgia, which took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from June 3 to 9, 2024. The International Youth Theatre Forum, which brings together young people from the CIS, Baltic, and Georgia countries, has been held for several years now.
It was organized by the International Union of Public Associations, the International Confederation of Theatre Unions, and the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States. Our youth are participating in the Forum at the initiative of the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the participation of the Academic National Drama Theatre.
The Vth Youth Theatre Forum of the CIS, Baltic, and Georgia will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from June 3 to 9, 2024. In addition to theater critics, playwrights, and theater professionals, the forum will feature young directors and their productions.
This year, young theater artists representing Azerbaijan at the Forum include Javid Zeynalli, Abdulla Elshadli, Daglar Yusif, Umid Abbaszade, Sahib Akhmedov, Sabina Haqverdiyeva, Elmira Uzeyirova, and Farah Guliyeva. Also, on June 7 at 7:00 PM, as part of the Vth Youth Theater Forum of the CIS, Baltic, and Georgia, the K. Kujamyarov State Academic National Drama Theater of the Uyghur Republic will present the play "Without You" by the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater (author: Sh. Gurbanov, director: N. Gulamzade).
In addition to Azerbaijan, the 5th Youth Theater Forum will feature representatives from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and other countries.
