rom May 1, 2022, the official YouTube channel "1873" of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan has been launched. The channel will feature many interesting projects about the art of theatre.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Azerbaijan Republic is initiating a new project to implement the “Azerbaijan Theatre for 2009-2019” State Program, approved by Presidential Order No. 277 of 18 May, 2009, on integrating Azerbaijan theatre into world culture, to support the development of education, training, modernization of the education system and targeted training of talented youth in foreign countries.
In accordance with the State Program “Azerbaijan Theatre in 2009-2019”, approved by Order of President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev dated 18 May, 2016, with the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan, the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, and The International Centre for Multiculturalism hosted the 4thBaku International Theatre Conference on the theme “Multiculturalism and Theatre”.
On 15 February, 2016, the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan, who took part in the Theatre Days event in Bursa, Turkey and in the Antalya Konuk Tiyatro project, held a meeting with media representatives and the creative team of the play “Old Men-Robbers” staged in the director laboratory of the Union.
