Event dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy
An event dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy was held by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan.
The event, held with the participation of cultural figures and public figures, featured the National Anthem and a minute of silence to commemorate the souls of the martyrs.
The speakers - Chairman of the Union of Theater Workers of Azerbaijan Haji Ismayilov, poetess-journalist Zarangiz Demirchi, and head of the "Gunay" Children's Theater Larisa Tarusova - spoke about the Khojaly tragedy and the damage it caused to the Azerbaijani people, emphasizing that the memory of the Khojaly martyrs is always commemorated with deep respect and reverence.
After the speeches, the "Gunay" Children's Theater presented the play "We Have Not Forgotten Khojaly", based on Zarangiz Demirchi's poem "Answer".
