Agdam Theater in Baku
The Baku premiere of the play “Monsieur Jordan’s Karabakh Adventures” (directed by Fuad Javadzade) was held under the joint organization of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Union of Theater Figures of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan State National Theater for Young Spectators.
Before the performance, the director of the Agdam State Drama Theater, Mahammad Huseynov, and the Chairman of the Union of Theater Figures of Azerbaijan, People’s Artist, and State Prize laureate Haji Ismayilov greeted the audience and told them about the history of the Agdam State Drama Theater, its difficult and glorious path of development. After the performances, the stage was given to the actors.
Actors Karim Hasanov, Anar Ahmed, Zarifa Agayeva, Farhad Farhadzade, Afarda Ahmadova, Ramil Huseynzade, Khayala Khudadatova, Jamal Zamanov, Tural Yusifov, Behbud Askerov, Turan Narimanov, Yusif Ziyadli participated in the new creative work.
The production designer of the performance is Mushvig Garayev, the costume designer is Goncha Hazizade, the music designer is Zaur Rashidov, the dance director is Shukur Hasanzade, and the assistant director is Jeyhun Yusifov.
The stage work, prepared based on the innovative perspective and creative and innovative approach of the young director, was met with great interest, enthusiasm and applause from the capital's audience. The performance was broadcast live on the Culture channel.
