2nd "Children's Theater Festival"
On the initiative of the Azerbaijan Art School, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Union of Theater Figures of Azerbaijan, the 2nd "Children's Theater Festival" was held on April 7, 2026.
The event was dedicated to the 153rd anniversary of the National Theater Day. The festival is intended for children aged 6–14.
The head of the project is Farid Bagirov, the author of the idea is Tural Aliyev. The festival program aims to increase children's interest in theater art, form their aesthetic taste and reveal their creative potential.
As part of the festival, children performed both entertaining and educational stage performances, portraying fairy-tale heroes. The event provided participants with the opportunity to work in a team spirit, develop stage culture and self-expression skills.
One of the most important innovations of the festival this year is the application of the inclusive participation model.
Thus, children from vulnerable categories also took part in the festival and had the opportunity to demonstrate their talents and skills by appearing on stage with other participants.
This initiative serves to promote inclusive culture, ensure the equal participation of all children, and integrate them into society.
