Meeting with the collective of the Fizuli State Drama Theatre
On September 23, 2019, the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan visited the Fizuli State Drama Theatre to familiarize themselves with the conditions in theatres operating in war zones. The director of the theatre Vagif Valiyev and members of the collective greeted the representatives of the Union with respect and deference.
The guests were interested in the activities of the theatre, held sincere conversations with the theatre workers, consulted on how to solve existing problems. A number of stage costumes were donated by the Union to the Fizuli State Drama Theatre for use in performances and events as an example of support to theatres operating in war zones.
The director of the theatre, Vagif Valiyev, introduced the members of the Union to the collective. Speaking at the opening of the season, the head of the delegation, deputy chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers of Azerbaijan, people's artist Rafiq Aliyev congratulated the theatre staff on the opening of the 31st season and wished good luck to the theatre working in such difficult conditions in the name of the development of Azerbaijani Theatre art.
