“TIME AND THEATRE”
On 10 March, 2017, on the National Theatre Day, there was held a scientific-practical conference “TIME AND THEATRE”.
On 10 March, 2017, with the organization of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Union of Theatre Workers and the University of Culture and Arts, there was held a conference “Time and Theatre”, dedicated to the National Theatre Day.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Union of Theatre Workers, prominent artists, intellectuals and the media.
Opening remarks were given to Chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers, Azer Pasha Nematov. He congratulated the participants of the conference on the National Theatre Day and gave the floor to the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Adalat Veliyev.
Adalat Valiev congratulated theatre professionals on the National Theatre Day and spoke about the impressive development of the Azerbaijan Theatre. Then, the rector of the University of Culture and Arts Farah Aliyeva made a speech. Farah khanum congratulated the participants of the event on National Theatre Day and spoke about the importance of holding such events.
After the welcome speech, the word was passed on to the speakers. Art critics gave presentations at the conference - Ilham Rahimli with “Time and Theatre”, Maryam Alizade with “Theatrical Process: Movement of Time”, Aydin Talibzade with “Time of the Post Dramatic Theatre as the End of the Theatre Era”, Vidadi Gafarov with “Time of the Theatre, Theatre of Time”, Aida Gafarova with “Union of Theatre Workers in the Time Aspect”.
